Highlight Activities 2021: Non-breeding season records of the Alpine Leaf Warbler Phylloscopus occisinensis.

Abstract: mtDNA extracted from a blood sample was used to documents the first record in Thailand and South-East Asia of the recently described taxon, Alpine Leaf Warbler Phylloscopus occisinensis, caught banded, and released at Hang Dong, Chiang Mai, on 24 January 2020. DNA was also sampled from feathers collected from four other individuals, likewise in the Phylloscopus occisinensis lineage, banded by the authors in Bangladesh, which provided the first records of the taxon from that country.
